Sussur tree bark bug

tree bark is missing i cannot collect it from the tree, there is nothing glowing that i can click on

same problem here, from what i've read it happend to some people back in 2021 so something triggers the bug

If you get closer to the tree, hugging it does it still not appear?

Yea, basically run up the limb and hug the main tree trunk, it doesn't really highlight on my computer, just an outline and the words Sussar Bark when you get close enough.

you maybe one branch too low. From the Waypoint is a small ramp which allows you to go on branch higher of the tree.

Check your journal. What happened to me was with a misclick someone took the bark, i did not notice it and kept looking for it. And i did not get a notice on the main screen neither(nor log). So i checked my journal it stated i took the sussur bark and now it is time to finish crafting the weapon. In which case, try to look for a picture of the sussur bark online, and then...scour your inventory for the item, cuz i think it will not even have the orange outline. (Like another item with similar importance. Dawnmaster Crest, had to check all 4 inventories for a while to find it and there was no picture of it online neither. and no orange outline:P

iam on the right branch, hugging the tree, alt does not highlight anything and i cannot click on anything.. i guess its a bug from 2019 that never get fixed sad

is it possible to destroy the bark if your not carefull? i killed a manoster near the bark if so they need to patch this or make a new yournal entry that the bark is destroyed and there is no way how to forge a weapon

I quicksave like every 5 mins, i've been screwed over so many times in EA, that this is my 2nd nature now.

If it's of any consolation, the resulting weapon is not that great. Lost XP is not worth redoing 30 hrs, you are right.

You need to be more observant, that tree is kinda sus.
