Ketheric Thorn Fight *spoilers*
Playing a red Dragonborn, draconic ancestry Sorcerer. Went into the Towers fight at level 8 with topped off spells and everything. Man that was a blast (literally) was blasting "Fire Fi" by ramstein on repeat while I took down the entire first floor of baddies with a couple fireballs and scorching rays. had shadowheart cast silence on the half orc whats-her-face in the middle and went to town. took Jaheera and Halsin into face down the man himself on the top of the tower, cue, "let the bodies in the floor" and once again, its on.

i drank a potion that gave me +5 initiative before the fight, and also cast haste on myself before going in. two more fireballs later and all of Ketherics minions are toast. Karlach goes screaming in with her greataxe and does some pretty decent damage, then the half angel lady does a number on him. but what took him down i hear you ask? the mighty firebolt. cue cut-scene.

well i follow him down into his lair, where there is a very handy mind flayer whats-it-called topped off my party before the fight. once again, cast haste on myself and shadowheart using twin spell, go in and, skip, skip, skip anyway i started blastin. misty step over to half angel lady and then you already know, the best spell in the game dismantles mr. thorns minions. shadowheart does her healing and buffing, she used the staff of arcane something or other to give that mystras blessing spell to make my fire that much more better. trusty karlach goes flying in once again and absolutely dismantles the mind flayer in the room.

Halsin calls down some lighting and turns into an owlbear, we have a grand old time and the boss is down in 2 turns.. but wait, theres more!

So apparently this guys pretty tough, and comes back as this big bag of bones, i hear thats important. Anywho Karlach and Halsin do their thing, shadow heart gets a level 5 guiding bolt in that absolutely wrecks him and once again, the trusty firebolt takes him down... in a single turn. poor little guy didnt even get a swing in.

this was all done on normal difficulty, and i just thought it was awesome enough to post. I just had a blast, played all day today, literally like 12 hours straight. anyone else got any cool stories?
