He is baby. Can we save him? I don't want to kill him :steamsad:

I heard he can be killed when meeting him initially, for his lantern. I just talked to him and he escorted me to Moonrise Towers in peace, then left. I still don't have a lantern, will need to figure out a way to deal with the curse another way, maybe.

I have to admit that I'd love to befriend a Drider.

it is easy not to kill him. just ignore his trigger, and you can run in moon light tower you self. grab the moon lantern in the necomancers room and done. you never have to see Kar'niss ever.

Yeah you can have him give you the lantern and leave, but I don't know if you encounter him later or not, I had an oath to fulfill....

I already managed to lure him and make him give me his lantern, then I let him go away without killing him.
But I think he's getting corrupted by the shadows then. I don't know if I can save him.

He will appear again in upcoming boss fight and I don't think you can end it without killing him. Though perhaps knock out?

I don't think you can save him. Sad times. He is so pretty and intense. Would love to have a spider man on my team of misadventurers :(

I would have so much loved to meet a Centaur as well.
Unfortunately it seems there are no Centaurs in this game.
So at least I would have loved to befriend a Drider.

If you like a Drider, the best thing you can do for them is kill them. IIRC the curse of Lolth that makes them driders torments them as well.

I met him after that quite close to the tower and he was mad...

I ambushed him with some harpers and knocked him out and looted him. I thought knocked out NPCs would just lay there, but once I starting chatting with the harpers Kar'niss got back up and we started fighting again. The second time around, even though I tried to knock him out again, he died.

Poor spider boy... He just needs cuddles.
I would have loved to give him the affection he deserves.
