I researched and if I am not mistaken, I am speaking about Guiding Bolt.
Thanks for the explanation of Sacred Flame anyway, I didnt know that.
Thanks, I will try to work on that. Are there other ways to increase that further, except for leveling up? Like, some items?
If you want more success with weapon attacks, you'll need to increase her STR or DEX, since those both start at a mediocre 13, which leaves her weapon options not as great.
But some enemies have high AC and low DEX save, which leaves sacred flame a better option. Other enemies have a high DEX save, which makes sacred flame comparitively weaker against them.
Guiding bolt is an attack vs AC. Uses WIS to scale accuracy.
So whether sacred flame or guiding bolt is better against a foe depends on your target's defenses.
Is there a way to target a specific stat to level? is this a feature in tactician mode or something? because I'm playing in balanced mode and I don't think I've ever seen an option to level individual stats.
Ah ok thanks for that. I assume I haven't found whoever is responsible for that, unless it's the guy who lets you change classes and hire npcs?
Yes, he is the one. But I still think I am somehow missing something about that because it seems like i can only change the bonuses on the attributes, not the attributes themselves...
No one else mentioned this, but you also can increase abilities 3 times through leveling. At levels 4, 8 and 12, when you are offered a feat, the top option gives you 2 ability points to spend to increase stats. Additionally, several of the other feats give you 1 ability point to spend on specific stats.
Hmmm now I'm curious. Maybe I'll have to ♥♥♥♥ around with his options and see what comes up.
OOOOH ♥♥♥♥ yeah you're right I ignored those because I liked the feats but that's true that would be how you'd increase the attribute points. Thanks for reminding me dude!
