I go to the Moon Towers, the woman commander leads the detachment, she dies and another woman says to follow her to the tavern, at the tavern the third woman orders to stop, the fourth woman behaves rudely and provokes me to kill them all, and the fifth woman is the main boss of this entire tavern. How much can you? This is just one example, on a small part of the location. Are there any men in this game?
It's not natural. Could this game be less woke?

HALSIN is a MALE druid who is the leader and Kahga was trying to take over behind his back.

Ketheric IS A MALE. The Githyanki have a literal Goddess for a Queen but she has far more men in positions of power.

I get that you're joking, but from my experience in the military (retired now) and in life.

There are certain jobs women and men are suited for, combat is a mans job and always will be throughout all of history due to the way men are built. So it's natural for people to think it's strange for the majority of the warrior / commander roles and warriors in the game to be women.

Suspension of disbelief will only get you so far, and I can assure you that in my experience with women in the military. Even in a fantasy game it's absurd to have so many, I can understand maybe 10% in a fantasy game. The genre is fantasy after all. Though anything over that is really pushing it.

The matriarchal Drow aren’t going to trust a man to run anything. He might get ideas. Or upset Lloth. Dragonborn don’t really have sexual dimorphism. A mage can cast fireball with or without a penis. Plus adventurers aren’t normal. People whose job it is to fight adventurers are also not normal. We aren’t seeing a slice of life sim in BG3 its the extreme ends of societies.

Drow are an exception in D&D, unique because they are different. Making every faction just like theirs in terms of their hierarchy ends up making the Drow less distinct.

Then again, with the way WoTc has been acting lately, I won't be suprised if that aspect is removed entirely because it's "oppressive" and not politically correct to have evil races, oppressors, or slaves in games these days.

Have you played Act 2? Minthara was the real leader of the goblins, because it was her responsibility to be successfull with her "goblin army" in that region. It is why she got punished in front of Ketheric.
Also the goblins spiritual leader was a female witch too.

Halsin was not leader in that moment you play the game, also you can completely ignore Halsin in the story line, not finding him, so still Kahga was the leader of the camp in that time.

Ketheric is evil, I asked where are the good male leaders?

WotC will remove it b/c they’re lazy and claim they’re being PC. WotC is just looking for an excuse to do less work. 5E is such a mess b/c WotC’s design philosophy has been ‘make GMs fix it’ for almost a decade.

For comparison, Paizo changed how Duerger work from basic ♥♥♥♥♥ slavers to something that is more nuanced that gives their culture something other than slavery, while still doing what amounts to slavery in a pyramid scheme that drives wealth to their rulers. Same ‘minimize slavery and create nuance’ concept, but actually executed rather than just taking all the flavor out of the game so they can sell $1000 packs of magic cards.

Entertainment products that are massively popular and consumed by a broad variety of people are GOING to have woke elements to the characters. Is it wrong to change the norm in a fictional setting? Arguably not. But is it a completely earth-shattering revelation to notice? No, if the content is good then I don't really care.

A better question would be: why are there no American accents? Everyone is bri ish.
