But I imagine it might help just jumping your highest Dex / Ini character to start the convo, leaving rest behind, and then making them jump to you? Dunno if it'd actually work, but that'd certainly have been next thing I would've tried if I got the ol' yeetus treatment.
- A high AC character can tank those skeletons for a long time so rush in there and keep them busy.
- You're on a very exposed plane of land, push the stronger skeletons off the ledge (balthasar included)
- Check for any consumables and scrolls you have, some buffing elixirs, maybe some holy water for AOE damage,
- You can revive your fallen allies by healing a single point of hp, with a bonus action such as healing word, or even throwing a potion at them
Can you still do that if you're just a hovering spirit/soul after being yeeted into the abyss? Never tried it myself but if so, then it's not QUITE as bad as all that :D
But if they're making death saves, it's all good.
Take Gale and rework his spell list if necessary.
