Did you use the parasites or not?

Just curious. Did you use the parasites and if so, in what extend? I get the game tries to push me using them, but I still don't trust them. And I wonder if its even possible to get past a certain point without doing so.

I haven’t used them. I suspect whatever the dream person is, it isn’t friendly. I’m guessing its a mindflayer looking to trick you.

Nah, in my first run I try to avoid things I would not do it, so nope, not if I can avoid.

No, got them in their pickle jars, will try to finish the game cold monkey, then reload and gobble them down at once and see if there is any noticeable difference.

Yeah I tried 5 of them they give ok ability's but I really don't think they are worth it to be frank about it because it all really depends on the class you play so..

But if I do another run - maybe as a Dark Urge - I do a 180.

im not gonna spoil who the dream visitor is but i have been using the tadpoles and most of my entire rooster of companion are now half-ilithid and can fly (infinitely better than jump btw).

ive heard that not using them makes whatever part of the game a lot harder but idk, i havent got to whatever part that is so ig we'll see

You don't get a bad ending if you use the parasites. You're obviously meant to use them. Only a few are actually good, though.

I mean every time you use the powers it says you lost something you won't gain back. That's not really increasing my trust into this whole thing

I haven't used them, and the dream person is way too pushy about embracing them. So no thanks.

I use as many as I can get. Hoping to turn into a mindflayer eventually.
