An option to turn-off quest markers.
Not asking to remove them but rather an option to turn them off. I like to explore and find new fellas, but then both minimap and map are filled with marks. They are unnatural to me. The game makes a good job at telling u where should you go without marks already (is not as cryptic as Dark Souls). Come on Larian, please, it'd be nice and I don't think it'd be hard to implement.

I like quest markers, but would prefer an option to have them start hidden and only appear once you find them on your own.

I've never liked modern RPGs always telling me where to go.

it wouldn't be so bad if quest markers from finished quest wouldn't bug out and stay forever

Trouble is sometimes you find a 'map' ingame and it's just a description like "map of the severs with a mysterious x" ... how are you going to find that X then? but to each their own :)

I don't think that's a good comparison because firstly you don't even find the map, it just appears. And the quest markers do the same thing.
All I ask is an option to turn em off.

I wish I could turn off the markers above party members when they want to talk, because I don't want to talk to them. lol

Same, I'd rather have an action to speak. Sometimes I missclick and my character starts talking with the characters hahaha.

It wouldn't work with the current design - the NPCs rarely if ever tell where to go (e.g. the deep gnomes in Act 3 after being saved in Act 2 with "meet us in Baldur's Gate").

Edit. When they do tell the names of the locations (e.g. some specific tavern), they do not tell where that tavern is.

I won't read more cuz I just beat Act1, and I knew where to go in all quests because all npc literally told u where should you go. So don't know what are u talking about tbh. I'd recommend to use spoiler tag next time.

More options are always a good thing. I wouldn't use it personally but I don't see any reason to not give people the choice just because it's not for me.
