40 FPS in Baldurs Gate

With RTX3080ti and i9-11900K. I feel like DOS2 had more crowded places. This is just bad.

DOS2 runs on an older version of the game engine too but I dont have your 40 fps issue.

they got DOS2 running on switch and ipad... model / lighting / texture fidelity in DOS2 vs BG3 isn't comparable

I've found that in just a couple of very crowded places with high fps variance, vsync can induce very annoying stutters. Disabling vsync helps smooth things up.

downloaded the latest nvidia driver, fixed the issue for me. gtx 1660

RTX 3080 ti and ryzen 5800x 3d here I am getting around 140 fps max settings DLSS quality on 1620p. I am still on act 1 so can't say if things change in later part of the game bur for now performance is mostly solid but I get FPS f=drops when camera changes from gameplay to cutscene.
