Act1 stealing/pick pocketing,

I'm playing a Rogue type character who I plan on using to steal from the vendors.
I am wondering if I can steal from the same vendor multiple times with the same character- say if I level up afew levels inbetween each stealing session?
And a follow up question - I am wanting to know if the vendors equipment in act1 or future acts changes based on my own character level? Think my characters are level 3 atm. Should I start stealing at lvl 5+?

Steal now. Just make sure you cast +rolls +skill concentration spells and wear gloves +1 and ring +2 sleight of hand. Sneak, enter turn based and do it. Sometimes you will fail, but you can always save scum a little..I certainly didn't do it.

With each level up vendors refresh their stock. So if you steal earlier - you can amass more faster. Not sure if they change stock.

when you steal something send it directly to your camp, so they won't find items at you

I didn't care to be honest, only stole once a grenade of an enemy's hands

PS: if you see the roaming around, soon after you took something from them, move away with the thief and let some time pass.
