The Hag's lair. Poison Traps help.
this is the first one i'm stumped. my main Witchblade has a Summon Imp spell so I was able to make it to her boss fight arena and got to see a preview of how things'll go down but...

my actual party of 4 can't get down there with all these poison flower traps all over the place.

any advice? im happy to know there's something i can't handle in Act 1. everything else has been mostly easy until this death puzzle.

The in-game hint is to put something on the vents.

I just ran through the clouds on tactician and avoided the traps, I didn't lose too much hp that it mattered.

You can either use featherfall spell/scroll and actually jump down avoiding gas and other traps.

Or use your team member with the highest HP to put something on the vent then use your highest DEX member to disarm them

I used feather fall and jumped down.

Pass perception check to identify the vents. Once you do throw something heavy on them.
IF in any case you fail the perception check just drink potion of poison resistance and you can simply walk through the clouds suffering no damage.

In EA I also cast poison protection on Astarion and used him to disarm. He takes a little damage every few seconds but can't be poisoned by the gas
I changed my movement from party to single person, then I used my rogue to spot traps while jumping down (even my strength 8 character could make all the jumps), and this allowed me to avoid all of the gas and most of the traps
neat. with these replies there's multiple ways to approach this situation. love the variety.

I sent Astarion first to search around the area, then after that, I just teleported with everyone after finding some teleport or something at the very end.

Edit. I mean, it's not a scroll or anything like that, but some kinda shining circle on the ground.

i wanted to do this too but realized i gave Shadowheart a different spell on her build because instead of the one that protects against posion because i assumed that'd be a very specific situation because not many enemies in act 1 so far use poison magic, attacks or skills.

now i see that very specific situation.

use trow you can loot the masks they can block the vents easy

I was carrying a couple of goblin corpses with me and using them to shut the vents.
Was just throwing them on top and the picking them back up.
Actually worked like a charm
ooooh! those jester masks. didn't know they are the solution. neat. thanks guys.
