act 3 what to do after getting the annals of karsus book ??

went into the sorcerer sundries vault and i got both the annals of karsus and the tharchiate codex, but the quest still says find the tharciate codex , i read them both, do i just need to GO out and find do something else now?

I Just had to go out and continue the story, the quest went away when i got out

You reread the necromancy of thay after reading the tharacite codex

make sure you read the book as Gale. thats what should progress the next part of the quest.

Whoever read the Necromancy of Thay needs to get the debuff from the Tharcite codex, then with the debuff open back up the Necromancy of Thay and you can finish that book. I was able to do it on my Durge character.

After you've read it, have someone remove the curse and you get a final buff of 20 temp hitpoints at the start of any long rest.

Half truth really. As the quest has no ending. It wasnt finished with the release of the game.
