strong builds for karlach/barbarian?

Want to switch lae'zet out for karlach. But lae is SO strong, like she gets 4 attacks in 1 turn with action surge. Shes also pretty tanky. While I dont have that feeling with karlach. Any tips on her?

Press Rage and smash face. As long as that's up, Karlach is just as tanky if not moreso, especially if you go Bearheart. Berserker can attack three times a round as well, all with advantage, and Rage resistances lets her shrug off most counterattacks.

Also if you want action surges, 2 level dip to fighter (or 3 for the subclass, all 3 are quite useful, champion being the easiest with just more crits passively) for Karlach isn't too painful a commitment to make :)

Great weapon master + Reckless Attack ♥♥♥♥ on fighter dps while bear rage effectively doubles your health. Action surge is incredibly limited and even paladins out preform it with smite.

Okay this is what you do.
You go to camp.
You swap out laezel for karlach.
Then you click on the karlach portrait. This is vary important.
Then you take karlach, and you send her over to withers.
Then you click on withers. Really important step here.
Then you click on withers and select 'Respec class.'
Now you can make karlach the exact same build as laezel. Or even better!

I know, it's a top secret only us pro's know how to to do.

Barbarians are tanky as hell with passive resistance to physical damage in rage and deal lots of damage, but if you want pure damage make karlach a berserker barbarian and take the tavern brawler feat (with the +1str so give her 17 str to start) to improve thrown damage even more

This. Tavern Brawler + Berserker makes Karlach the best girl in the game.

Thrown weapon builds with tavern brawler are super op. Get a returning weapon and just kill everything in the first round.

I think I sold the gloves that increase throw dmg, any way to get em back? Also, when do you get returning weapons? Im just in act 2

Try the NPC you sold them too and see if they are still on them? There's a returning pike in act 1 though i cant remember where i got it. Also Aaron in the grove sells a ring of flinging

I think the vendor I sold the gloves to left, so think i lost em.
