Are you still able to get owl bear cub as a companion if you killed the goblins in the camp

i didnt know about the owlbear cave until after i went through and killed the goblins in the camp. saw a guide on how to get the cub but it only showed for how to if the goblins were there. i killed the mother and attempted to interact with the cub. anyone know if theres still a way for me to get it?

I'm not sure. I never saw it in the Goblin Camp myself. For me I went to the cave before heading to the camp, made nice with momma and left. After killing everyone in the camp, I went back to open the chest in the cave and found mom had been killed by goblins. A few long rests later, the cub (seemingly injured) showed up in my camp.

Yes, as along as you interacted with it in the cave, if you wiped out the goblin camp it should just turn up at some point in your camp after long resting, I did the same thing.
