my character keeps saying this over and over, im in act 3. idk what the game wants from me.

I had the same issue. I had to kill her and then have withers resurrect her to make it stop.

I have this bug too and it's frustrating. Speaking to the aforementioned "her" also just acts like Shadowheart is speaking to her for the first time every time.

Who even is "her"? I dont even know what triggers it, it just happens seemingly at random with no "her" around...

I had this too, and it somehow seems linked to a game stopping bug where I can't speak to (minor spoilers for near beginning of Act 3) Kith'rak Voss in the Sharess's Caress taproom. Very annoying

When I click on him I get that same line about Shadowheart needing to speak to HER more than I do"

Definitely some weird bug. Please post an update if you discover anything more.

That's what your character says when you first try to talk to the lesbian couple at camp after act 2. Just had that dialogue. So that's probably where the bug is coming in.

I'm having the same bug. It is causing me to be unable to progress the questline involving Voss in the brothel.

I finished talking to Raphael then went downstairs to talk to Voss and the conversation doesn't start. When I first walk up to him and click to talk to him, my character says "Shadowheart needs to speak to her more than I do, better wait until she's free."

Things I've tried in order to fix this bug (which failed to fix it):
- reload an earlier save (furthest I went back and tried was 20-30 min prior)
- fast travel away and run back
- attack a party member with another party member to jostle them out of possible lock
- cast silence on entire party + him and then try talking after it wears off
- go to camp and come back
- bring Laezal specifically to the conversation (she wasn't in my party before).
- Go complete another quest then come back

I think I'll have to chalk this up as a fail and either wait for a patch to fix it, or I'll have to try again on another run.

Sometimes conversations get bugged. I had a bug with the kid I save from the harpies in act 1. I couldn't talk to him at all. Not just conversations, Wyll had an exclamation point above his head for hours and he didn't really want anything. There's a myriad of bugs. But with Shadowheart... maybe you got close to or entered a place called the House of Grief?

Same problem with you. Can I ask you, did you have any weird issues with the Githyanki Patrol in Act 1 / Act 2 (if you went to do the githyanki creche AFTER the underdark like I did). I had issues on that bridge where the conversation wouldnt end properly, and then it would just repeat. Eventually, I just walked past them. However, because it also involves Voss, I wonder if that is when the bug started. I am also hoping you can just progress the quest and steal the hammer from Raphael without Voss's help

I reloaded a save 16 hours previous and restarted act 3 and the exact same thing happened. I am continuing with my playthrough even though its a bummer and will probably complete the game without resolving it if forced to.

for me i had nightsong run to the top of sorcerous sundries and killed the guy up there, fixed it

Yeah, I got this too... think it's keeping me from progressing my shart romance.
