I made the following changes to difficulty to the following
IncreaseMaxHP(30%) to 50% Enemy HP
RollBonus(Attack,2) to 3 Enemy to bonus
SpellSaveDC(2) to 3 Enemy save bonus
It does not effect all the enemies but a good chunk of them.
I was pleasantly surprised by the opening quest line to escape the nautiloid. the demon lord killed the mind flayer lord rather easily and was chasing/attacking my players before I was even close to the control panel.
After landing on the beach, the intellect devourers used ranged attacks against me! that never happened in normal difficulty.
in normal difficulty I quickly amassed a stockpile of supplies, healing potions, and spell scrolls. it was obvious I'd never need most of it.
The sad part is if they do not you them they drop them.
For three players you need to have the game open three times so it could kill you machine - lol.
Then start a multiplayer game on the main under lan, select direct connection and use the code it gives you to join the other two instances.
build each character, start the game, once you are in, leave/exit the game on the two off players. They will stay in the party and you are good to go,
