Shadow-Cursed Undead? Need help, Astarion.

Astarion fell into a room, separated from the party and the Moonlantern. He died due to the curse, and now he's a zombie that I can't control at all and his condition is listed as "Shadow-Cursed Undead" and it's Permanent.

Because I can't control him, I can't move him to the party...or suicide so I can resurrect him. He's stuck in a room he can't get out of it, and I can't figure out if there's anything that can be done.

When I right click on him, I get the option to Group, but can't as they say he's too far away. And there is no option to drop him from group if I decided I had to replace him due to the permanent zombie status.

Does anyone know a solution - either to drop him and replace? Or remove the Shadow-Curse Undead status? Thanks

I figured it out. There is a moonlantern (not broken, fully functional) at moonrise towers on the top floor in one of the rooms that fully negates strong shadow curse. Grab it, then take it to Astarion. You're gonna have to kill him as he's hostile. Once you kill him, help him up and the shadow cursed undead debuff is gone. Though you could always save scum :)

Also if you don't want to have 3 members of your party until you find the lantern, just have Withers take care of Astarion and collect him later once you have it.

OHHH so thats how you do it. My game immediately tav and halsin into the zombie in question and i had to STRUGFLE to get shart and astarion to moonrise towers
