I actually chose this background and I've actually been having fun with it to be honest. I think the general idea was for you to be a nobody hailing from small village or something but you help the common folk and since you're used to being alone you have learned to get along with animals.

I dunno I've been digging it.

Folk heros tend to come from humble backgrounds, like say someone who was a farmer (animal handling) or possible a hunter (survival) who did something heroic that helped out their village.

Makes sense to me.
