Jaheira build
so, ignoring how Larian made Jaheira so weak from her being in epic levels lore wise, I want to make her somewhat similar to her BG1/2 build. Anyone have viable druid/fighter builds? Just bear in my mind, that dual wielding is a must (lore reasons). Druid 8-9/fighter 3-4 seems optimal. What do you guys think and what other 2 feats should I take? AI and something else? And if AI, should i leave her at 17 wis and pump str to 12? Or something different?

Pretty good plan but IMO She has pretty damn high DEX so just give he finesse weapons and use ability improvement there and also the extra attack from the fifth level in fighter is too good to pass up.

I respec and made her a eldritch knight. When she hit level 11 buffed with haste and a blood elixir she gets 9 attacks if she downs a enemy which she will. Shes easily one of strongest members now.

Lorewise Jaheira be like: 7 lvl druid of land / 5 lvl of warrior or ranger. Stats: 8 STR / 17 DEX / 14 CON / 8 INT / 16 WIS / 10 CHA. For druid get this combination of always prepaired choices: Coast - Tundra - Desert. The choice of warrior or ranger is a choice between burstness and consistency. The reason you might want warrior is action surge which is nice, but you need to rest more to benefit from it and superiority dices that give you some extra damage options and lots of combos, but again you need to rest more. The reason you might want to be ranger is 1) extra spell slots, it counts as if you continued druid spellcasting, 7 lvl druid gives you 4-3-3-1 slots and with 5 ranger lvls you get 4-3-3-3-1, all WIS based and you can restore them as land druid 2) almost garanteed 1d8 extra damage each round (hunter subclass) 3) hunter's mark spell, but it needs concentration unfortunately. Fighting style I recommend defense (+1 AC), you really won't benefit much from dual wealding since with Belm scimitar (you can grab it in her house in Baldur's Gate) or rapiers (one very powerful legendary rapier you can obtain completing quest in BG) you can do extra attack with bonus action as if you had 2 scimitars. So I think ranger is better both lorewise and practically. No extra feats needed, just spend attribute points: 3 on DEX, 1 on WIS. With Khalid amulet (+1 WIS) you will have 8 / 20 / 14 / 8 / 18 / 10, which is pretty nice. Armor - Medium armor with no DEX cap and stealth penalty, Weapon - Belm scimitar, Shield - Ketheric's Shield. With a shield, good AC 16-17 medium armor with no DEX cap, items that give free AC bonuses and defense combat style it is possible to reach 28 AC level, super tanky.
So Jaheira 7 lvl druid / 5 lvl ranger I would say is conditional A tier, can't compete with solid melee-range fighters, but she requires more brain activity from a player and if you good enough you can make Jaheira great again.

I'd say go Fighter 5 Druid 7. Fighter 5 is where you get the extra attack.
But depending on her starting class and stat loadout (not sure what she has), it may be a better idea to go Ranger 5 Druid 7, so you get more spellslots, which amounts for a slightly better synnergy.

Ranger get extra attack at 5lvl too as well as Paladins, Barbarians, Monks, Warlocks with Pact of Blade, 2 Bard subclasses at lvl 6. None of these stack up.

Druid doesn't though. Any martial (except rogue) and half-caster gets it, Druid as a full-caster does not. You of course also said to take 5 in fighter or ranger, OP was thinking 3-4 fighter though which is crippling when pursuing the melee angle using dual wielding.

Honestly, going the ranger route as they described is pretty satisfying. This isn’t an optimal build discussion. It’s trying to get closer to what people got to experience in BG and BG2. Not only do you get the extra damage from Hunter’s Colossus Slayer but if you add Hunter’s Mark you deal a lot of damage every strike. I won’t get the extra attack until level 12 and the damage is still pretty good but the Druid spells add a lot in terms of shutting down areas and bottlenecking enemies with AOE spells.
