Ability to save and recruit Minthara in Act 2 along with Halsin (she's a paladin ffs, surely she has some light deep within)
Goblin origin/companion character + playable Goblin race. We have haflings and dwarves, why not gobbos?
I'd like to have cobolds as well. For Deekins sake =)
Jokes aside, I think this is an interesting question, but I think it kind of links back to the race. Goblins seem to be evil without exception, much like Goblin slayers world. We also can't play a full orc, so I suppose again half orc is the best they can do considering the world?
We can look at the LOTR world in the same way, there are no good orcs. So...I suppose, it's just not possible in the world of Baldur's gate?
As for half Goblins....that could be interesting, but perhaps Goblins can't fornicate with humanoids or perhaps they are just too aggressive against humans?
We may never find the answer to these questions.
