I need the help and knowledge of the hive mind here.

Can someone list all and the easiest ways to reveal invisible enemies?
I have an invisible enemies in the underdark and I see him just doing nothing round after round but I dont know how to reveal him.
I have a sorceres but she is like level 2 and a cleric and a rogue.
I have no idea what skills or flasks can help me!? I dont have any rain oder grease casts left.

See Invisibility scroll.

The *absolute* easiest way is for sure to let Volo operate on your eye. No spoilers but you'll be able to permanently see invisibility.

Edit: to be clear, I mean let Volo 'attempt to remove the tadpole'.

Alchemist’s Fire can also reveal them if you land it in the vicinity.

Not sure how to do spoiler tags on here so I will just give it a healthy gap.

SPOILERS BELOW

A certain bard that you can have at your camp can come up with the idea of surgery on your Tadpole if you let him go through with it he pops your eye out and gives you an ersatz eye instead with see invisibility on it.

1- Fairy Fire before or after they Invi
2- you can have your main character go through the bard procedure in act 1, you have no malus for doing so (unlike the hag), and gain a magical eye that gives perma see invisibility.
3- use AOE spells to reveal them. (like aoe arrow and such)
4- see invisibility (spell or scrolls)
5- if you have a cleric, use your spirit guardian and run around. works well.

If you know their general location, you can throw water or bombs or even large CC abilities like webbing or grease. If they save the throw, you'll see the general location. I cleaved the air and hit them right in the nads once I saw where they made their saving throw haha. You can do this out of combat too

Any aoe damage or fairy magic will highlight and remove invisibilty.. so poison clouds, fogs, aoe fire, ice, not sure if rain will.. but it might show you where they are should work.

wait!? I thought losing your eye would give you just some low damage buff or something useless. Oh wait, I think I mix that with the hag trying to remove your tadpole, arent I?
Well.
Fairy fire...what....I had to google that spell. Damn if you only wrote that this is an Warlock lvl1 spell! But thanks.

move you mouse over the map, sometimes you can't walk over a certain area, but it should be accessible, then it's a clear sign for someone being invisible -> nuke the spot, for example fire, maybe grease could work too

It's quite annoying that enemies get the ability to spend an action to search for invis and hidden enemies but you, the player don't when the same damn mechanics are used. It's really dumb.

This was changed. I'm not sure baout the story implications, but it's a free perma buff and some companion disapproval. The hag is only -1 on attack rolls against hags.

^ This. Free Volo, let him examine and heal you. Neither does it buff your CHA nor debuff your INT (like it did in EA). It just gives the detect ability. It also doesn't prevent you from doing criticals (yet another urban legend since release).
