Edit: to be clear, I mean let Volo 'attempt to remove the tadpole'.
SPOILERS BELOW
A certain bard that you can have at your camp can come up with the idea of surgery on your Tadpole if you let him go through with it he pops your eye out and gives you an ersatz eye instead with see invisibility on it.
2- you can have your main character go through the bard procedure in act 1, you have no malus for doing so (unlike the hag), and gain a magical eye that gives perma see invisibility.
3- use AOE spells to reveal them. (like aoe arrow and such)
4- see invisibility (spell or scrolls)
5- if you have a cleric, use your spirit guardian and run around. works well.
Well.
Fairy fire...what....I had to google that spell. Damn if you only wrote that this is an Warlock lvl1 spell! But thanks.
This was changed. I'm not sure baout the story implications, but it's a free perma buff and some companion disapproval. The hag is only -1 on attack rolls against hags.
^ This. Free Volo, let him examine and heal you. Neither does it buff your CHA nor debuff your INT (like it did in EA). It just gives the detect ability. It also doesn't prevent you from doing criticals (yet another urban legend since release).
