Level 3 Spells Not Showing Up/Not Available?!
Hey folks!

So, I got to lvl 5, selected the lvl 3 spells for my characters - Gale and Shadowheart, but they're not available for me to use? How come? Is it bc I selected second class for them? I am a little confused.
Appreciate you all in advance!

Multiclassing is why. You get the spell slots of a Level 5 full caster, but not the ability to learn or cast the spells that require them.

Did You ready these spells in their spellbooks?

You probably just not readied them up, you only remember so much of the Weave in the same time.

Just inter inventory and then switch to the spells tab.

There are no spells to ready/prep. That's why I'm confused. I selected what I wanted, then seleceted second class, but the new lvl 3 stuff is not avail... anywhere. :lunar2019shockedpig:

You mean re-loading a save prior to leveling or is there another way to re-spec?

It's because you mutliclassed.

You gain new spells separately, per class. A Wizard 3/Cleric 3/Druid 3/Bard 3 would not be able to learn any spell above 2nd level, although he'd have the spell slots that a 12th level fullcaster would, and he could upcast his 1st and 2nd level spells using them.

You need to click on the little symbols to select your level 3 spells OR slide your spellbar to the right to give more space for them to show on your default bar. My Gale's spellbar was already full up on cantrips, lv1 and 2 spells that his 3 ones weren't showing until I slid my bar right.

Did you multiclass them? As i know you got 3rd level spells when you reach 5th level of the caster class, not 5 levels at all.
So is you have 2 level at some other class and 3 level in the caster class you are to levels short to get 3rd grade spells.

So when multi-classing, does it bar you from learning lvl 3 spells permanently or just for that moment of leveling and then it opens up again at next lvl?

It opens up when you advance a class with spellcasting to the needed level, which is level 5.
