Skip Creche quest?

[Cake for Mumm-Ra]

Lae'zel says we need to go to the Githyanki Creche to eliminate the tadpoles, but the guardian has confirmed my suspicions that the Githyanki likely can't help anyway. Lae'zel is rude af so she's in time-out in my camp.

My question is can I skip the Creche quest and head towards the underdark to find the nightsong? Or am I going to be missing out on valuable loot & XP?

Weighing my options because I don't want to miss important content, but I think it's a fool's errand.

Yes you can but you will miss an important character development point for Lae´zels character.

You can do both btw. As long as you dont enter moon rise towers you can travel back to the creche from the shadow lands too. ;)

Apparently there's some pretty good stuff to buy there; I'd just like to know if you need to have Lae'zel in your party for this or not, because I'd rather she stayed at the camp instead of having to deal with her character.

Lae´zel will make alot of char progess. Would be shame to miss the chances for to grow ... also grow as a character on you, but yeah ... you can. You can get rid of her too ... for ever if you want that. Its a You-adventure afterall.

If it's about act1 I am on a righteous crusade by the God-Emperor to kill the xenos and unclean so I purged her.
Still got the quest later on at the bridge.

I went through the underdark and was able to go back and do Laezal's quest at the creche. I don't know if that's intended but I did it.

I skipped it by accident. Got a little too carried away after the Nightsong and I rushed headlong into Moonrise and before I knew it, I was in Baldurs Gate and not able to go back.

Other than an odd choice here or there from Laez that I feel would make more sense if we'd gone to the creche, nothing significant as I can tell.

But I really do wish I'd remembered to go back there and do it; if only to have more of the story.
