Dammon is not in Act 2 in the tavern. Although he definitely survive, I googled and it should be there

So, is that to fix the broken spear in the Owlbear?
(Is that spear worth fixing?)

No. You can fix that spear yourself as soon as you get both parts. One bit off the dwarf at the top of the hill with the two absolute members and the other off the Owlbear mother. When they're in you're inventory just right click and hit combine then add the other piece and get yourself a pretty decent early game spear.

I assume you mean Last Light Inn in the Shadow Cursed lands? He isn't in the tavern he's in the building to the right of it that also houses the oxen.

There should be a quest marker marked on the map with his location, although his quest kinda bugged for me, still have his iron lol
