is it normal if my gpu usage is like 50% with vsync off in this game? i was pretty sure i had before 100% gpu usage wich is normal with vsync off becuz your gpu tires to push as many frames as possible anyone else got this issue?

what gpu is it? it might be outrunning the cpu and causing a bottleneck

i downgraded drivers but still nothing my gpu usage is like 50-60% it should be 100% all the time no?
just try loading a save from act 1 and tell me if you have differences

low resolution like 1080p or less uses very little gpu resources
im playing @2k but in act 3 I cant even have smooth 60 fps, in the cities and in the temples.
Im playing in Ultra preset with DLAA and GPU usage is max 45-50% but the CPU is between 70-75% usage (i7 9700k)

That's probably your "problem", the areas with a lot of NPCs are heavy on the CPU, which might manifest a CPU bottleneck that wasn't present before

Def a CPU bound game.

Same here. The performance issues started to happen at Shadow Cursed Lands. By the time I arrived at Moonrise Towers my game (which was stable at 60 FPS) is now unstable with drops everytime I do something, sometimes as low as 20 FPS. Is unplayable, even with DLSS/FSR on.

RTSS shows my GPU fluctuating from 80% to 30% and my CPU usage never exceeds 50%

Ryzen 3800X
RTX 3070
16 GB RAM
Nvme SSD

I've tried everything I know, reinstalling GPU Drivers (yes it is up to date), closing background processes, using upscaling or not using it, restarting the game, restarting my PC, messing around with settings, changing resolution none of that helped. I'm loving the game so far. The story, the characters, the world, the exploration, until today I was loving every single aspect of this game, but now I'm frustrated.
