Auto Read maybe for scrolls and books?
there was a nifty little mod for War of the Righteous that someone made where you could have the scrolls and books or anything that was pretty much text, be narrated by one of those text readers. I think that should be made optional here as well, unless there is an option for it and im just not seeing it.

Good suggestion.

You have the patience for that? I mean, scenes can get triggered, other sounds are important, stuff happens when you walk around. I would hate for a narrator to ruin that by reading a whole page of lore text. This pretty much requiring you to stop doing anything. Besides that, reading is way faster.

I dont think you quiet understand how that works, when you open a book you have the option of click on the text to activate the mod, it doesnt stop your game, or prevent you from doing whatever else assuming you decide to do anything else, i would assume anyone who wanted to read the text would thus be required to you know stop doing stuff and read it, while those who are merely listening can continue doing whatever, and yes if they decide to run into something while the text is being read thats kind of on them, as they didn't have to do that. Also it'd stop if you forced a loading screen, or activated a cutscene.

But that is my point. I don't want to wait a minute or so for the narrator to finish out of fear he is going to narrate over other ingame narrations that happen when you travel which can happen out of the blue sometimes. I prefer just reading the text in 5 seconds. It only takes more time to have it narrated.

But true, that is my personal preference.

The thing is I'm dyslexic and thus a very slow reader also reading is kinda a chore for me and it diminishes the games fun factor. I hate reading and getting a 2 page text every 20m you walk in the game is just annoying at one point and I just ignore all texts. I want to know what's written there, but reading isn't an option. Such a mod would greatly enhance the experience, even if it is just a standard robotic text to speech voice.
