I dont think you quiet understand how that works, when you open a book you have the option of click on the text to activate the mod, it doesnt stop your game, or prevent you from doing whatever else assuming you decide to do anything else, i would assume anyone who wanted to read the text would thus be required to you know stop doing stuff and read it, while those who are merely listening can continue doing whatever, and yes if they decide to run into something while the text is being read thats kind of on them, as they didn't have to do that. Also it'd stop if you forced a loading screen, or activated a cutscene.
But that is my point. I don't want to wait a minute or so for the narrator to finish out of fear he is going to narrate over other ingame narrations that happen when you travel which can happen out of the blue sometimes. I prefer just reading the text in 5 seconds. It only takes more time to have it narrated.
But true, that is my personal preference.
