tongue of madness

i use tongue of madness in alchemy and now can't finish omeluum's quest. help?

That won't stop your journey. It is not big of a deal.
You can either load an old save or you can just accept it and move on.
You get a blue ring that helps vs charm effects - that's about it.
Even tho I can't say if it might change an outcome later on when I wear it.

there is another one in moonrise in the tower i just dont remember where. you can go back and finish the quest later.

i was just wondering if tongue of madness grow somewhere else beside arcane tower and it seem it does!

yeah its in a boss area i think or a office of some sorts. let me look real quick. moonrise towers in Balthazar's laboratory there is one

seem to be locked in that area too as you cant even spawn it. you can spawn everything else, but not that one

Might be worth checking a few of the merchants in the area as well, I dunno if they can have Tongue of Madness specifically, but they often do carry alchemy ingredients, so they might have one.

I swear I looted arcane tower top to bottom, and had same problem as OP but with timmusk. Anyway, went back to tower and checked basement, lo and behold, timmusk on a table.

Not saying it spawns, but maybe?
