Potential Bug: HASTE HELM not triggering
Since i found the "Haste Helm" near the blighted Village, my Paladin still waits for the effect to trigger. Opened up a fight since then at least 6 times, but i am still restricted to 9 meters of movement, not 10.5 meters as it should be. Anyone else got this?
*Edit*: Yes, the one that gives Momentum for 3 rounds.*

The one thats supposed to give you "momentum" for 3 rounds, right?
Haven't seen it give a visual buff, not really paid attention to if it actually increases movement - will have to test it out later

Just checked and yes it doesn't trigger

Not sure what causes the bug, but I've found it will trigger, and then stop at some point. Unequipping and reequipping fixes the problem, but then it will stop triggering again at some point.

I have this bug as well

Ah, that is why I'm not seeing anything happen. I'll try to wear/unwear.

What does "Momentum" mean in this context? I don't see the Haste Helm as a magic item in the DMG, so I'm not sure where to look. When I use T when examining my items in inventory, it just foregrounds the existing description. It doesn't define the term Momentum.

EDIT: Nevermind. If I press T, then click on the word MOMENTUM, it is defined.

momentum as the tooltip said it gives you extra movement speed, just like using dash without using dash command, good for your tank to throw themselves first

Momentum gives you extra movement range. 1.5m I think iirc?

It only appears in the case of this item at the start of combat and it'll be a little circular buff next to the characters portrait that looks like a running foot with wind behind it. You can mouse over it to see what it does.

I didnt notice it working either, its collecting dust in my stash now.

It's always worked for me iirc. The buff it gives is just so small I never notice it. Don't end up using it for long. 1.5m really isn't that much.

Thanks for the speedy reply! I just figured out how to show a definition.

It's 1.5m per remaining duration. So +4.5m the first turn, +3m the second turn, +1.5m the third turn.

Yeah, and it's still not much. There is much better equipment out there. It's barely worth keeping.
