Where do I find Gortash's Netherstone?
I killed him and it wasn't on his body, checked everywhere in the upperhall and audiance chamber of Wyrm Rock, but just can't find the stone.

It was the gauntlet, why I didn’t get the quest update was because I sent it to my camp rather than putting it into my inventory first. He has it on his dead body

This thread saved my bacon. Didnt realize that sending to camp didnt count as looting. Besides, I already had a better monk gauntlet.

This is such an oversight in game design! The sequence should clearly trigger as soon as you inspect the body. I think a lot of players not using unarmed will just send this to camp. Thank you!

Same happened to me. This is quite a design flaw! When I went to camp and fished the item out of the trunk, a cutscene suddenly began back in the tower.

he had to use charge from Staff of Cherished Necromancy on something

Couldn’t figure it out, either! I hadn’t built an “unarmed” companion, so I was like “…and I’ll sell this.”

Loot the gauntlet found on his corpse. Just like after defeating Kethoric that the PC will pry the stone out of his armor. The PC will also remove the stone from Gortash's gauntlet when you pick it up.
