Because I came through on my ranger a few hours ago.
Turns out refusing to long rest due to time paranoia is thirsty work

If anyone can explain why I still keep clicking on them I would appreciate it!
Why are there so many containers to search in general. I've stopped searching them at this point as 99% are trash.

I've found lots of Drinks and Potions in them... normal and big Healthpots, some green and even a purple poisen...

this game should be renamed from "Baldurs Gate" to "Empty containers" because that's what 90% of the content is.

I have the same issue. Its either a tactician thing, and all these squares playing on normal have a different loot table than us or we aren't searching the same shelves as them. Tired of seeing empty bottles.

There definitely needs to be a search radius around your character mod that opens up all surrounding containers and auto closes them if there's nothing in them. Also an ability to blacklist rotten food and vendor trash that has under a certain weight:value ratio.

General rule, if it doesn't look important it probably isn't you aren't missing anything, theu hod good stuff in good locations for the most part. That stuff there for looks but they made in intractable to let people go thru it. It's also randomized I believe so you may or may not find low end loot in some of that stuff. The good gear isn't randomized though.

Well, I personally love to search. I enjoy all the camp supplies etc. I think it's worth searching for those alone.
