Sazza dead!

I freed her from the druid camp. I saved her from a Drow who wanted to feed her to the spiders. And after all that, she stood at the beginning of the goblin fortress and stayed there.
But after I killed three goblin bosses - Sazza died! In her place is her body!
What happened?! Who killed her?! Another bug?!
And as far as I understand, there is an achievement - "She Cannot be Caged!", which says that Sazza can be saved a third time from some other place!
How do I save Sazza?!

Yeah, I get it. Now my ass is flaming even more since I realized I could have saved it, but I can't go back to that moment anymore since it's long past that point.
I feel like crap.
Thanks for explaining the things that can be done to save her. Looks like I'll have to save her on my second playthrough.

To be honest though. I still think this point in the game is really stupid, since Sazza dies anyway because of a stupid script. And in order to save her, you have to perform a specific chain of actions.
There's no choice. Game of the year, that's for sure.

Right be4 the execution i pushed Sazza out of the edge of the bridge, to the safe position. Her executioner pushed her several times and even hit once for 2 HP, but she's alive, and quest "Save Sazza" still not finished.
Thou she's not active, i can't interact with her, and the quest stacks on the step "We entered the goblin's camp, ad Sazza promised us to introduce us to the draw".
I'll check will that be enough to save her.

You don't have to do any pushing, you can just convince Minthara to not kill her. You also don't have to side with the goblins. Just kill the priestess first (after she leads you into the secluded room, it won't aggro anyone else if done quick enough). Talk to Minthara and after you saved Sazza, you can just kill all the remaining goblin leaders (or knock Minthara out). Just make sure you don't kill Sazza, who hangs around at the center area where the priestess was. Teleport out if you have to.
