theres seldom any good chances where an accessory holding a soul is good to be worn.

Precisely my thoughts as well. Hence why I never tried and it is neatly resting in my backpack for now. Same as the bottle that was transported by the Zentarim. Am not opening that thing. Pandoras Box, anyone?

It doesn't do anything bad far as I can tell to wear it, I don't know if it gives you commentary on things while in your pack, but if you wear it sometimes it will have things to say as you run around.
