Halsin Romance wont trigger?

I'm in Baldur's gate with max approval and can't get his dialogue to trigger. I've long rested like 5 times at full approval. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. No idea what's causing it not to trigger
I managed to trigger the romance on my Druid, first playthrough
On my Bard however - I cannot

The only differences, aside from classes, is that for my Druid Jaheira managed not to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill herself, while on my Bard I was too tired to bother whenever she lives or not
Her presence in the team also bears no influence, since my Druid rejected her offer to join

Given the amount of trolls complaining about bear sex, I assumed this would be much easier to trigger.

Halsin did come on to me at a seemingly random time while I was in the city. is your approval rating at least medium?

he should have an explanation point over his head at night before you go to bed, that's where it triggers.
