Grymforge Boss, I went full Stupid.

So in Act 1, Underdark
I reached the Grymforge Boss fight
and seeing that it was a mechanical monster made of metals standing on lava.

A thought came onto me where im thinking "Im going to melt this bastard!"

so I used the "Heat Metal" spell on it.
Which only made it glow hotter but it was completely immune to the heat and fire... and then I just noticed that its been standing on lava this entire time unscathed.

... in other words... I made a giant mechanical abominaton of mass destruction into an extremely hot giant mechanical abomination of mass destruction :I

It was already super heated, you were actually cooling it down if you were introducing another heat source of less heat.

Click on examine and look at resistances/tool tip for super heated.
If heat metal works when it's not super heated to get it going again...that's kinda cool/save some steps in that fight.

how i kill it in the end was i threw a bagpack filled with explosive barrels
and blow it up


if fire doesnt work,
maybe explosions would.
and it worked.

i had my ranger stay up on top of the ledge and shoot it lolz but i also heated and bashed the sheet out of it with the little hammer thing in the middle

is that all the mithral ore around because i only found 2 sources

yeah theres only 2 mithral ore
i didnt know

xD so i made armors first instead of weapons

You could kill it easily by causing it to be superheated in the lava, luring it to the center of the forge and using the forge hammer with the lever to hit it.

xD yeah but i got an achievement for killing it without the forge hammer
so thats a ++ for me
