Animate Dead - Limit per caster or party?

If I have multiple casters capable of Animate Dead, do they have separate summon limits? Or is the summon limit cap shared across the party(i.e. no reason to run it on more than one caster)?

Also, does the animate dead summon limit affect other summons such as spiritual weapon?

i wish i didnt need to be lv 6 im half way to lv 5 and it has taken 14hrs

I've had a druid with 12 summons active at once. The undead spells require a body though, Zombies make more zombies, They just die out of combat. I havn't found an upper limit myself yet outside of running out of bodies to summon more undead.

I think you can do a minion master build if you wanted. Higher tier animate under allow multi summons of undead. I'm sure you could game the system if you wanted with scrolls and what not.

I got access to Animate Dead on both my Necromancer and my Cleric at level 5. You're not far off!
