I would think a high traversal to get height plus sneak attacks at ranged would be powerful. I'm unsure what multiclass could get you that. Does ranger give you sneak attack? I would look for something that lets you teleport to high locations, hide easy, return to stealth and land stealth attacks. That would be pretty darn powerful.
Unfortunately the game doesn't let us look ahead on skills for classes which would be nice so we can kind of plan a bit.
The gloomstalker ranger gives you access to some nice spells like hunters mark, longstrider and miststep for repositioning, while increasing your initiative and giving you additional damage in the first round - with lvl5 you even get a second attack.
The assassin gives you ambush and alacrity, which makes nice openers, and the option to go into stealth each turn, which means you can fire with advantage each turn as well.
