Stuck with quest.

Please help. How do I 'open' the wall in House of Grief? The game tells me I have to walk down the corridor, but I don't know how. I am really sad because of this

I can't help you. I assume you don't have Shadowheart in your party? For me I was let through after I spoke to the receptionist. They made Shadowheart sit in the room right beside the entrance, where she spoke to a projection. Then the path down was open.

I am not sure how that would play out without Shadowheart.

im not sure where you are. Theres a room with a bench. you sit on the bench and they do some sort of cut scene. If Shadowheart is with you, you have the option to let her take your place. After that the door opens and you just walk down the path.

Consider yourself lucky it wont let you.

Do not go down there.

Oh I didn't know you have to play shadowheart. I left her in my camp so I'll choose her for this quest. Thank you very much !!!

For real, I was not prepared, I had to restart 4 or 5 times until I found something that works haha. The narrow stairway saved me.
