In early access it was fine, but in this version I said one wrong thing and was gated off.
No playing with the children.
I kept it because you never know... But after Mol refused to talk to me.
I gave it back and then Mol was ok with me.
I feel like there are some things, if you do... you wont be able to get the quest (choices!) or maybe you can "revert" the bad things you did????
Maybe try to "bribe" the scamming kid? Select trade and donate things to him.
If he likes you then, might say few good things about you to Mol? (Just an idea)
This is another one of those dialogs you have to pick the right party member to talk or the whole thing goes to hell.
Getting Mol to talk to you is confusing. I rescued the kid from the Harpies, he told me to go talk to Doni, and my quest log said talk to Mol. She told me I took advantage of one kid. It took a bit to figure out which kid she was talking about.
You can give the ring back if it's in your inventory, not in your pack and not in your companion's inventory. I feel like as long as someone in your party has it, it should be enough to get the dialog.
At this point, I don't even want to do her next quest.
This is why I don't have any kids, LOL.
Never side with devils.
Spoilers?
You don't have to in Act 3, either, but IF you give her the contract she signed with Raphael (and DON'T tell her you killed him), she will give you one of the best "gather your allies" abilities for the endgame -- Fletcher's Favor, giving every party member resistance to fire and the ability to cast incinerating rays.
