minor spoilers owl bear cub

Does anyone know if the owl bear grows does it eat the other pets at camp ? just curious cause in very early access they joked about the owl bear cub maybe eating other pets ?

Im wondering this also, because since having the owl bear cub in my camp, Scratch the dog is no more, has suddenly disappeared not sure why.

Yeah, I can tell you. Spoilers ahead.

The little cub is safe to have and is a very good boy. He stays little until the very end of the game, where the final battle happens. Then someone made him drink a potion so he could be a big boy in full armor, ready to assist you for the kindness you showed him.

Not gonna lie, I shed a tear, I was proud of my boy.

Yes, if you use Speak to Animal, the owlbear will tell you it sees Scratch as a big brother.

There aren't any other animal that I know of, unless you count Halsin haha

I got into a fight and killed his mama before talking to the cub and now--even with animal speaking--he is only interested in *eating* his mom!

There's another cub.

Which I managed to free but that never ended up in camp for me. But you might have another chance.
