It's your favorite game, not everyone else. It's very niche
I personally would like to see Larian doing something like Cyberpunk with their formula. Utilizing it in more sci-fi setting for giving us more broad spectrum of equipment/item capabilities and even having cyber augmentation for character customization.
Sounds like a skill issue on your end.

More infos on the game on this excellent fan-made website :

As a fan myself of both XCOM and BG3, I'm VERY hyped !! (they seems to take a few pages from Larian's book, notably for cinematic storytelling and companion interactions)
They said the same thing about phoenix point and it was terrible
HARD pass.
SWCOM is clearly gonna be the XCOM3 that so many of us are waiting for and stay faithfull to the formula that made the success of XCOM and XCOM2, with the bonus of taking place in the popular Star Wars Universe !
Have a look at the fan site I linked, there's lot of infos already there and the game looks very promising...
I'm not a big fan of EA either, but Bit Reactor is a new indie studio that deserves a chance and EA seems to be quite hand-off on this project so far (fingers crossed hoping it stays that way)
HARD pass.
I mean, those guys are the origins of everything wrong with videogames.....
I sure hope not.
Well to be fair, it's not like they tell to make bad games. But they do order them to add terrible things in to the games and then build their game around it, which does give them a level of accountability.
Thou it is shocking to me that they just don't crank out Star Wars games with Mass Effect formula, as it would work so well with it. Both use space magic in sci-fi setting.
What wrong with Cyberpunk setting?
rofl what skill have to do with this is trash game?
