Radial Menu Lag
Anyone else having insane radial menu lag during combat? I've noticed it happens during shop menus too.

Radial menus are laggy as well along with illithid power skill tree.

Large battles (last light) actually cause the game to freeze when opening the radial menu.

Larian priorities are very interesting for patches and hotfixes.
A workaround to this that worked for me is disabling your frame rate cap

If you still need/want one, the post I found this on suggested to set on in your GPU settings, however I have not tested if that brings the issue back or not. Hope this helps others too, until they fix it

This seems to have done it for me. I had framecap enabled to 60fps. I removed the cap and shot to my 120fps cap I had in rtss. Didnt have the lag when toggling sharpshooter. Then set a cap in rtss to 60 and seems fine now. Many thanx.

So the ingame fps cap is the issue?
Yes, removing the frame rate cap setting in Baldur's Gate 3 itself is what worked for me.

For the Nvidia settings, or whatever your GPU alternative is, I could enable or disable frame rate cap and my game worked perfectly fine with either option.

Thats what i looks like. I have a 144hz monitor but I set rtss to 120. Once I unchecked the limiter in BG3 itself, the latency went away. Then I capped it externally with rtss, still working fine.

So they've done something to the ingame fps cap then.I've used it ever since the game came out without any issues until now.

I disabled the ingame frame cap but kept the nvidia frame cap and I still see some UI wierdness like attack icon being laggy/minimap being jittery, loot text being jittery when turning the camera around with alt-key enabled.
:/

Happening to me too. Playing on a 9800X3D / RTX5080 and the game is installed on a WD Black SN850X so its very unlikely to be my PC.
Currently at the Goblin Camp and have only noticed it on the radial menus during combat.
