I can't leave the options menu.

When I try to change my game settings, be it video or languague, the game doesn't let me close the menu. Anyone else having this trouble? Does it have a fix?

M game is set at a different resolution and I can't change

You guys are a wealth of information, so I'm going to assume you're using a broken mod. Fix that self created problem.

i used to mod with vortex a long time ago, but i have none of that stuff
i just installed it again
verified my files
a random textbox with a checkbox also appears when i try to save changes or exit the game

mod manager doesn't appear, and trying to get into a game boots me back to the main menu

EDIT: found the fix; i am incredibly stupid
if you installed mods before, go into app data (AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3) and check if you have a mods folder. If you do, delete everything inside. It worked out for me.
