Patch 8 Hexblade Deepened Pact + Extra Attack Non Honor Mode
Now that patch 8 is here (yay!) I was wondering if 5 levels in Hexblade w/pact of the blade and 7 levels in Oathbreaker would work to get 3 attacks? I'm unclear if the extra attack from deepened pact still stacks with the normal melee extra attack on non-honor mode. I have seen conflicting things online and wondered if anyone has leveled up enough to try it yet.

I too would like to know if the extra attack stacking still works (not counting honor mode obviously)

Ya, I heard the honor mode combo didn't work but still don't know if patch 8 changed it more than that...

I'm no expert but iirc only extra attacks from the same class stack. So, full fighter is the only way to get 3.

Core 5e rules, yes.

BG3, however, had for a long time this homebrew stacking pact weapon extra attack with 1 normal extra attack, as long it’s not honour mode.

I heard comments saying this would be removed on patch 8, but the notes says nothing about this.

I’m also curious how this will work.
I searched the patch notes for the stress test and didn't see anything, but people on reddit are saying it wasn't working - although they were saying deepened pact wasn't working at all so I don't know

Pact of the blade deepened pact at lvl 5 is what allowed 3 aprs before.

Why not just play a level 11 fighter if you want to passively make 3 attacks in 1 round?

You do not get triple attacks on Honour mode, period. This was not changed with Hexblade.

Maybe read the damn question before answering to something that wasn't asked.
Hi, I use war domain for classe other fighter to make 3 attacks (then no action bonus) in a round. Make a short rest to recharge the 3 attacks and one level enough gobally (depend dps of the groupe). Only physical damage. Example : fighter lvl 11 + war domain lvl 1 = 7 attacks in one round with action surge and 4 the next one. It's great for new dialogue line with divinity too =). And last point, the war domain give access to all armors and weapons too.

I was pretty sure that was the case, but didn't know if it worked on non-honor run games like before

Because 11 levels in fighter is boring after several runs, I was looking for a more interesting charisma based class

I understand, but people on the stress test were saying that was removed - others were saying it wasn't - that's my confusion.

You can do 4 aprs now, with eldritch knight.

Booming blade cantrip activate extra attack, so at lvl 11 is 3 attacks (first with booming blade) and a bonus action attack from war caster.
