to many games love to patch, patch, add bs, patch.. and forget two things. WE WANT TO OWN THE GAME! And some of us use mods! And STEAM is a forced update! I love that they updated stuff since the start, want to fix bugs but LET US OWN OUR GAME. So for once happy to update.

You're still gonna get minor updates. They said as much.

There will be more patches. Those patches will affect your mods.

Come back in a year, Larian will likely be mostly entirely done then.

Also, nobody owns their games. Technically; even physical games are simply a license.
