Hotbar UI not loading

Seems after the patch I have come across a UI bug that does not show me any actions, spells, or items in my hotbar. I was hoping to play with my friends with crossplay, but as you can imagine it is a bit hard when I can't see what I am clicking.

I have tried:
Restarting
Hosting
Lock/Unlock hotbar
Sliding the dividers
Repairing any files
etc

What makes this odd is that this issue also has bled into my solo game saves. Even if I try to start a new game the issue follows there as well. I sent in a bug report as well, but I was wondering if anyone else is also experiencing this issue.

I am experiencing the exact same issue. All of the hotbar boxes are blank...just black.

I had this happen. in my case, I disabled the better inventory UI mod and it fixed the issue.

mods most likely affecting it. takes a while for them to be compatible with new patches.

This could be related to using any mods that alter the UI like Improved UI mod I noticed that using Improved UI caused all my UI icons like spells or the jump button for example to be invisible even though I could still click and use them but with that mod off everything works fine so be sure to check your mods as that could very well be the culprit for most issues you could encounter right now.

i had the same problem but i uninstalled improved ui and it fixed the problem also dont forget to update your mods.

I did a complete uninstall of the game then wiped my computer of all Larian Studios files/folders. Reinstalled the game through Steam and STILL have no abilities showing on my UI. Unplayable.

I've seen others say this as well and uninstalling better UI. I don't have any mods and made sure older mods I used before in game mods were a thing were not in mod folders. Icons still don't come back so I am assuming this is a patch problem for myself.

Better Hotbar mod is causing this issue for me. I had to disable it and that fixed it. Waiting for the mod to be updated, I guess.
