Crash at 93% loading
game keeps crashing when it gets to 93%, i have verified the files multiple times. un installed and re installed 2 times still happens.

fixed: TLDR: was a bad mod, had to get nexus mod manager to delete it.

the game would get to the launch screen fine, but crash before the main menu would load. turns out it was a bad mod i don't remember which one. i had only ever used the mod manager that was added to the game so i thought uninstalling and reinstalling would fix it but it didn't. i ended up downloading the nexus mod manager and that showed me my mods and i deleted the most recent one and that fixed it.

sounds like a broken mod to me.
Make sure to MANUALLY delete the game folder as the old mods that used to go directly in the game folder are not removed by just use steam to install/uninstall

Also head to %localappdata%/Larian Studios Baldur's Gate 3 and delete the "mod" folder there to get rid of modern mods install location.

Nah, uninstalling a program only uninstalls that programs files. Mods and on occasion settings files or saves for pretty much any game will leave things behind that have to be manually deleted.
No, installing and uninstalling only does game files. Not mod files. Mods are your own files and you are responsible for properly maintaining, implementing and removing them.

The "93% freeze" is a known bug caused by faulty mods.
