Astarion lost his teeth....
Please be aware that this is not about the romance biting of Astarion (if you wanna call it that). I mean biting in combat. Somehow I managed to have the teeth disappear in combat. Any chance to get them back?

You can only use his bite ability once per short rest. Is that what you are talking about?
I am aware of that. But no matter if short rest or long rest. It is gone

You probably accidentally moved his bite attack off the hotbar when it was not locked.

You need to find the bite attack in his abilities tab, then put it back on the hotbar, and make sure to lock it afterward, so you don't do this again.
Wasn't even in the abilities tab. So most likely was a bug. If anyone else has the issue. I was able to fix this by going to withers in the camp and change the class. Even if the class stayed on rogue this did reset everything including the bite - action. (and after that of course I stole the money back from withers cause Astarion has nothing to spare :) )

How do you lock an ability to the Hotbar ? Never realised there was such an option.

See that lock to the right of the hotbar? When it's locked, nothing can be moved on and off it. When it's unlocked, things can. And yes, you most definitely can accidentally move stuff off the hotbar when it's unlocked, I've done it. This is why I always make sure to remind myself, after I move something on or off the hotbar, to lock it, so that won't happen.

Spoiler? Astarion's bite attack will not show up on the hotbar until you get his "vampire reveal" scene, when it then is supposed to.

Astarion lover here. Astarion have one of the most useful background picks, charlatan with sleight of hand and deception. Plus if you choose him as main, you can replace his racial spellpick of firebolt with something more useful like Booming Blade. Due to how BB function, it doesnt need any int from the player at all.

I usually always set him as college of swords bard with a ranged focus. His vampire bite is phenomenal, the happy buff helping to overcome the malus from sharpshooter.
