Steam Deck Patch 8 Performance?

I don't know about patch 8, but on patch 7, BG3 is not especially enjoyable on native steam deck. The loss on graphics is way too big to be worth it. Though, i'm still playing it on deck using Geforce Now, but still not as comfortable as it is on PC.

maybe. I was wondering if it stopped dipping down to 20 fps even on lowest settings.

From what i've read from people playing on deck, it's only a thing happening sometimes on act 3, when the settings are well done and FSR activated. They also suggest to play on 720p and then using upscaling, it gets better performances and look way better too.

In the end, the steam deck will always be limited by the hardware, and bg3 remains a demanding game, even if it's well optimized.
