I hope you can turn that off. Every game I played that had that made the game worse as you waited for the consoles to load or they were slow as crap if they were the host. Just give me a way to opt out of cross play.

From the screenshots, it looks like there's an option to enable it first:

given that the console it is on exclusively have SSDs - albeit old to middling ones - they probably have a higher proportion of fast loading speeds than most people on Steam
