Please add FSR 3.1 and Frame Generation
Upgrading the upscaler will not only improve image quality but also future proof the game for fsr 4 which uses the same entry point to the game. The Steam Deck would benefit MASSIVELY not just from the better picture quality but from the FG given the relatively slow nature of the game. This would be incredible for the game on handhelds.
Fsr2 is too old now.

Not happening. They are focused on the upcoming patch 8 and new future games.
Its about not leaving the game behind without really useful features
I see your point but they have mentioned several times before that at this stage, they are just about done with the game (features and support) and are working on their new game.

This game is exceptionally undemanding for a modern title. FSR and DLSS are part of the game already.

Unless you're running ancient tech, the options offered are significantly more than enough.

Tech like the deck can use it and jumping from FSR 2 to 3 is not that hard apparently.
Why are people against having more options?

I am not against it. But I am not Larian and I am also realistic. It's not happening.

I don't see the point on this kind of game where as long you have 50-60 FPS it's OK. BG3 is not an hyper realistic game neither a ARPG. FSR3 won't make the game beautiful on a game that is average (related to today's standards) for the graphics.
Its for lower end hardware and to use fg to combat the drops in the city

The frame drops in the city are CPU related, frame generation wouldn't do much to alleviate that.
Actually yes. It would paper it over really well considering the slow nature of the game makes input lag acceptable. Its an ideal case for fg to power through a cpu limitation

Knowing Larian's dedication to their work, I doubt seriously that Patch 8 will be the end of their support to this game, even if they no more contractual obligations to handle it...

Great point, actually. Try Lossless Scaling for framegen.
It doesnt work well on deck, sadly. And most fg mods require dx12. Bg3 is dx11. Including a better upscaler and fg would be TRANSFORMATIVE for the game on handheld and low end pcs

You seem to not understand how FSR works.
FSR 3.1 will bring better image quality for everybody who uses it. The age of the hardware is irrelevant.

Fake frames are ass though.
